There are two types of income according to Robert Kiyosaki – linear income and residual income – which type of income do you produce?

On the left hand side of the quadrant below we have employees and those who are self-employed. These two categories of individuals produce income linearly by trading all their time for dollars.

On the right hand side of the quadrant we have business owners and investors who produce income residually by either creating systems or investing in assets that provide healthy returns so that they don’t have to trade time for dollars.

I don’t know about you, but I’m focusing all of my thinking and efforts on the right hand side of the quadrant because I refuse to accept a societal narrative that I must work 40 hours a week for the rest of my life.
